Gionee S10 Lite review
Gionee S10 Lite has been released by the Chinese mobile phone maker Gionee as the lite version of the S10, the midrange device was released in India. The device houses the Snapdragon 427 SoC, sports a 5.2-inch HD display, 4GB RAM and boasts of a sharp 16MP selfie camera.
Gionee S10 Lite DESIGN
A little too plain and simple, the device looks too basic with just two lines at the back. The Gionee logo was placed just right above the line at the lower back. The rear camera and LED Flash is just in between the upper line.
The device is kinda cute though and portable, measuring 7.9mm slim and weighing 155g. Gionee S10 Lite was made available in two premium colours, Gold and Black.
Gionee S10 Lite DISPLAY
It sports a 5.2-inch IPS LCD touchscreen and boasts of 720×1280 pixels screen resolution. There are tiny narrow bezels, but the down and upper part of the screen has huge bezels. There’s even a physical home button which isn’t a fingerprint sensor. But overall the display isn’t that disappointing, keeping in mind that it is a midrange and a lite version.
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
The S10 Lite houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 chipset which clocks at 1.4GHz quad-core processor. A powerful midrange device it is, with no slow multitasking and it doesn’t take forever to launch an App thanks to its 4GB RAM.
For storage, it boasts of a 32GB internal storage space which is upgradeable to 256GB using microSD. Gionee S10 Lite runs smoothly on Android 7.1 Nougat OS with Amigo 4.0 on top.
CAMERA
Its highlight is a 16MP front shooter for selfies. Gionee always comes through with their selfie-focused device, and the S10 Lite is still flying the flag. The selfie camera has a dedicated flashlight for low light environment shooting so that you can take selfies in the dark.
