Google to Launch the Pixel 8 & 8 Pro in October

After Apple announced its event for the iPhone 15 series, Google also sent out invites for their next event. They are expected to officially announce the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro on the 4th of October. The event will be in New York City and will start at 10 a.m. local time.

Google said they will introduce the latest additions to its pixel portfolio of devices on October 4 at the event. They might also introduce the Pixel watch 2 to the market that day. Google also leaked the Pixel 8 Pro on their online store earlier.

Google Pixel 8 & 8 Pro Specs

There have been a lot of pixel leaks lately, and it is expected to come with a temperature sensor at the back. It will have a 6.7-inch 120Hz QHD+ LTPO OLED display. The Tensor G3 will power the phone with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage space. There will be a fast fingerprint screen scanner on the display and a 50MP primary camera at the back with OIS. The phone will have a 48MP telephoto lens and a 64MP ultrawide lens. It will have an 11MP selfie shooter, and the battery is 4950mAh with support for 27 watts of fast charging. As expected, the phone will ship with Android 14 out of the box.

Regarding specs, the Pixel 8 will have the same processor, selfie camera, storage option, and fingerprint scanner. It will have a smaller 6.17-inch display a 50MP primary camera, and 12MP ultrawide lens. The battery will be 4485mAh and will support 24 watts of fast charging and 12 watts of wireless charging.
