In anticipation of the Infinix Hot 8, a couple of its retail box images has surfaced online. It’s no longer a doubt that the Infinix Hot 8 is the next smartphone to be released by Infinix.
According to the leaked info from 91mobile, the sub-brand of Transsion Holdings – Infinix is planning to launch the Infinix Hot 8 later this month with a base price under Rs 10,000.
In the retail box images, the Infinix Hot 8 features a waterdrop notch display. Its predecessor, Infinix Hot 7 features a bigger notch display. The memory configuration of the Hot 8 will be a 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. The device will also support 4G LTE connectivity.
Sadly, these are the only specifications revealed on the images. But fans can be assured that the Infinix Hot 8 will have better specs and features than the Hot 7. The Hot 7 was launched officially in India last month at Rs 7,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant.
The Infinix Hot 7 features a 6.19-inch display, the dual rear camera of 13MP and 2MP sensors, MediaTek Helio P25 processor and 4,000 mAh battery capacity.
The rumoured specs of the Infinix Hot 8 so far says it features a 6.23-inch display with a dual camera of 16MP and 2MP sensors both at the back and front. The battery is expected to be 4100 mAh capacity and hardware is Helio P25 Octa-core processor.
If the rumours are true, then the Infinix Hot 8 will arguably be a worthy upgrade. But we have to wait till later this month when the phone launches in India to find out.
