Huawei Honor 9i was launched by Huawei’s sub-brand Honor, it’s an affordable gaming smartphone and a cheaper alternative to the Honor 10 flagship. I said it’s a gaming smartphone because if its Turbo tech GPU, which allows seamless graphics processing.
It comes with a notched screen, this allows for a more taller display, however, they’ll be a toggle to disable it. Internally, it houses Huawei’s mid-range chip, the Kirin 659. There’s 4GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB storage variant and dual rear camera.

DESIGN
The Honor 9i comes in attractive bright colours to fit any type of personality. It has a Plastic-like back with a Metal frame, making it look attractive. There’s a rear fingerprint scanner at the back which grants quick access, that’s if you don’t want Face ID.
At the top left corner, we can see the dual shooters, just like on the Honor 10. Sitting beside the cameras is the LED flash for night shots. When you turn over to the sides, it measures 7.7 mm in thickness and weighs 252g overall. It’s available in Black, Blue, Purple and Lime colours.
DISPLAY
A lot of Honor fans love the notch on the Honor 10, so the company brought it on this affordable alternative as well. Apart from the notch, there seems to be a tiny bezel on top as well. While the bottom chin is super minimal with the Honor logo on top.
The 5.84-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen dishes out a 19:9 aspect ratio and boasts of 1080 x 2280 pixels in resolution. It brings out your games really nice with 432 pixels per inch density, making the details sharp even when out in the Sun.
