The screen looks trendy no doubt, it sports the notch on top. The notch is super minimal, so it isn’t really that annoying, to say the least. It also manages to house the selfie shooter and speaker while Honor logo sits underneath.

The 5.84-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen doesn’t shy in that department. It has a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and 432 pixels per inch density for clear visuals. It stretches up to 79% screen-to-body ratio.

Hardware and Software

Making the decisions underneath is the HiSilicon Kirin 659 chip, it was manufactured with a 16nm FinFET process node. There’s an octa-core processor clocking at 2.36GHz, while the ARM Mali-T830 MP2 dominates graphics.

It has a cheaper variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage space, while the expensive variant with 4GB RAM has two different storage version. There’s one with 64GB and another with 128GB. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 skin.

Camera, Network And Connectivity

You get dual 13MP + 2MP shooter at the rear to handle your photographs, it comes with f/2.2 aperture lens and a LED flash. There’s a 16MP selfie camera ready to take beautiful selfies.

The Honor 9N supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs. It also has support for Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack, USB port, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.

Battery, Price And Availability

The Huawei Honor 9N is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 3000mAh battery with fast charging technology. Huawei Honor 9N will be available on shopping stores, starting from $199 to $249, that’s about (N70,000 – N85,000).
