Huawei held a launch event today in China for their new Nova 5i Pro. The new smartphone is the pro version of the Nova 5i released about a month ago.
The Huawei Nova 5i Pro features a four-camera setup at the back with two wide-angle lenses (48MP+2MP), an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Below the quad-camera is the fingerprint reader, which is a little bit high.

The device is powered by Huawei in-house Kirin 810 SoC, which we already saw on the Huawei Nova 5 last month. The Kirin 810 SoC is built on a 7nm manufacturing process technology and one of the best mid-range chipset right now. On the Nova 5i Pro, the chipset features two Cortex-A76 processors clocked at 2.27 GHz with six Cortex-A55 processors clocked at 1.88 GHz. For gamers, there is a GPU Turbo 3.0 which guarantees a smoother gaming experience.
Running on the phone is EMUI 9.1 custom skin flavoured with Android 9.0 Pie. There is a 4000 mAh battery with a 20W fast battery charger that can easily get to 50% within 30 minutes.
Body colour available to choose from is Blue, Green, and Black. While for memory configurations, there is 6GB/128GB (CNY2,199/$321), 8GB/128GB (CNY2,499/$366), and 8GB/256GB (CNY2,799/$410).
