Huawei just released the new Y6 Pro (2017), the predecessor to the Y6 Pro. The Huawei Y6 Pro (2017) is now complete officially and will be on sale in Germany, France and Italy for a price of around €179. The Huawei Y6 Pro which was silently unveiled in Europe will soon be available for customers in selected markets.
This is an updated version of the already-available Huawei Y6 Pro, which features a metal casing replacing the plastic and a Snapdragon 425 chipset replacing the MediaTek chip. It is equipped with a 1.4GHz quad-core CPU.
The device spots a 13MP rear camera with 5MP selfie shooter on the front to capture all your amazing memories. It houses 2GB of RAM that can run your major apps and 16GB of built-in storage which is upgradeable with microSD card expansion.
The display is a 5-inch IPS LCD of 720p resolution, same with the former and there’s a 3,020mAh battery to power this smartphone. A downgrade from the 4000mAh battery on the former Huawei Y6 Pro. The Huawei Y6 Pro (2017) is available in Black, Silver and Gold.
Huawei Y6 Pro (2017) runs a newer Android 7.0 Nougat OS with the EMUI 5.1. Surprisingly, the smartphone has a fingerprint sensor mounted at the back. The smartphone sure looks like an iPhone at first glance, they really worked on the design to look like the iPhone 8. Placing the fingerprint sensor exactly where the Apple logo, the camera was also placed strategically like the iPhone 8 plus.
If you are using the Huawei Y6 Pro and have some extra cash, the upgrade is definitely worth it, especially because of the sleek design. The device will slowly be available all over Europe in the coming weeks.
