Infinix Smart 8 Specs & Price

The Infinix Smart 8 is the upgrade coming from the Smart 7 that was released earlier. It is a pocket-friendly device from Infinix, targeted at the entry-level market. The phone has a plastic build at the back, and the frame is also made from plastic. It supports dual 4G LTE SIM cards, and there is also a slot if you want to expand the storage space. By default, it comes with 3GB RAM and 64 GB storage. It might not be sufficient since apps nowadays tend to take up a lot of storage space.

The phone has an IPS LCD, and the size is 6.6 inches. I was expecting the Infinix Smart 8 to come with at least a 90Hz refresh rate, but unfortunately, it has only 60Hz. The resolution is also 1080p, with noticeable bezels around the display. It runs on Android 13, and the XOS interface is the skin. The phone is powered the Unisoc T606 with the Mali G57 MP1 as the GPU.

There are two cameras at the back of the phone: a 13MP primary camera and a second depth lens. It has a 5MP selfie camera, and they are decent in good lighting condition. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the phone, and there are still people who appreciate that. You get a 5000mAh battery on the phone, which supports only 10 watts fast charging. It will take almost two hours to charge the phone from zero to a hundred. Overall, it is an entry-level phone, and much shouldn’t be expected from it.
