Infinix Mobile seems to be working on the release of a new smartphone called “Infinix Zero 8”. The device was spotted on Google Play Console listing and based on its specifications and features, it will be a mid-ranger.
From the look of things, it seems Infinix will be skipping the Infinix Zero 7 and instead launch the Infinix Zero 8 Series will be succeeding the Infinix Zero 6.
Considering that there is an official promotion video for this phone, we can only predict that its launch is imminent probably in the coming weeks. Based on the Google Play Console listing, the Infinix phone will be powered by MediaTek Helio G90T with an Octa-core 2.0 GHz processor and ARM Mali G76 GPU. It runs on Google’s latest Android 10 operating software. For the display, the size was not listed but its resolution is 1080 x 2460 pixels with 480 screen density (DPI).

Speaking of the promotion/teaser video, there will be two phones under the Zero 8 series – Infinix Zero 8 and Zero 8i. They both sport a dual punch-hole cutout in the display that houses two cameras. Note: it is not a pill-shaped hole as we have seen on many devices with the two front cameras. The punch-hole are not joined together. The selfie camera system consists of a 48MP main and 8MP ultrawide lenses.
Around the back is a 64MP quad-camera system. The display will feature a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180 Hz touch sampling rate. The phone will support fast charging (the version is unspecified) via USB-C port.

Then finally, the mid-range phone was spotted on the TUV Rheinland certification website. On there, it shows to have a 4,000 mAh battery capacity.
