Badges are monetary donations from viewers during an Instagram Live stream. This feature is designed to aid influencers and creators in monetizing their Instagram accounts. Viewers can buy a badge during a Live video that will standout in the comments section as well as access extra benefits.
Badges are available in three categories, depending on how many hearts are available to buy. Viewers can purchase two hearts for $0.99 (N400), two for S$1.99 (N820), or three for US$4.99 (2,000).
Thanks to a visual indicator in the chat stream, creators will see how many hearts a viewer has bought, making it simple to express gratitude during the live video.
How to Get Instagram Live Badges in Nigeria
Instagram Live Badges are only available to creators who meet the following criteria:
- You must have a professional account (creator or business)
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must follow Instagram Community Guidelines and Partner Monetization
- You must be in a region that allows it.
- You must have a following of more than 10,000 people
