Instagram Stories Highlights allows your favorite Story to be available after 24 hours

Instagram has officially introduced two new tools for users on the photo-sharing platform. Instant Stories Highlights is a new addition to your Instagram profile, which allows you group your favourite stories together. People can now see your stories for more than 24 hours till you remove them. If young decide not to remove them, the stories will be on your profile permanently.

Once you update the Instagram App from the Play store, you’ll find Stories Highlights on your profile below the biography. To create your Stories Highlight, simply tap on the “New” circle on the far left. Select any of the stories from your archives and add them to Highlights.

After that, just give your Stories Highlights a name and choose a cover. Then your Highlights will immediately show up as a circle on your profile. So whenever users tap on the circle, it will start playing. Another good thing is, you can have as many Highlights as you wish and they stay on your profile until you remove them.

To delete any Stories Highlights, just tap and hold for a few seconds on any individual Highlights circle, to edit or remove them. So, I said you can select Stories from your Stories Archive because your Instagram Stories will from now be available on your Stories Archive after 24 hours.

I’m so happy about this new update, some Stories don’t deserve to disappear after 24 hours. To access your Stories Archive, just tap the Archive icon, then you can easily use them for your Stories Highlights.

These new features will be made available in the next update, on the version 25 of Instagram for iOS and Android.
