It is Obvious US companies want Huawei as Over 130 US companies filed for licenses to trade with Huawei

The United States Commerce Department sometimes last month, announced its plan to issue special licenses to US companies wishing to continue their trade ties with Huawei.

A quick reminder, the tech company was banned from doing business in the States by the Government but the ban was later suspended pending a solution. Huawei was then given its first 90-day trade exception, which recently expired and the company was granted another 90-day extension a few weeks ago.

Well, it seems US companies are not on the side of their Government as they clearly want to continue doing business with Huawei. According to unofficial reports, the Commerce Department has received 130 application requests from local tech firms.

The United States Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross made it very clear that the new licenses will be issued only for components that are widely available and do not pose a threat to National security. This now leaves a lot of people wondering the type of components that met this requirement.

The truth of this whole debacle is that US tech firms want to continue doing business with Huawei. And the Chinese company isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. For now, their 90-day trade exception is still active and many believe the legal dispute will have been settled before its expiration date.
