Hong Kong smartphone company, iTel has announced its first smartphone of the year 2020. The new iTel Vision 1 features a rear camera design that mimics that of Apple’s iPhone 11.
This won’t be the first time a Chinese phone maker is releasing a smartphone that has sort of resemblance to an iPhone. So we aren’t too surprised by this move from iTel mobile.
Regardless of the camera mimics, the iTel Vision 1 is a nice budget smartphone with good specs and features. It comes with a 6.08-inch waterdrop notch display with 720 x 1560 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
The device is powered Unisoc SC9863A 1.6GHz octa-core processor and IMG8322 graphics processing unit. The chipset is coupled with a 2GB RAM and 32GB storage which is expandable to 128GB with the help of the microSD slot.
The dual rear camera which is enclosed in a square-shaped module consists of an 8MP main lens and 0.8MP secondary lens. Inside the module is a single LED flash, just as you have it on the iPhone 11. The phone’s waterdrop notch houses a 5MP selfie camera with Face ID and Beauty Mode.
Software-wise, the iTel Vision 1 runs on Android 9 Pie operating system. Its battery capacity is 4,000 mAh which can last up to 7 hours of gaming. Other notable features of the phone are dual SIM slot, 4G LTE, and rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
The iTel Vision 1 will be available in India for $77. There is no word as to when the smartphone will make its way to the African market. In Nigeria, it will cost around N20,000
