Leagoo S9 Pro Full Specs Review

Leagoo S9 Pro is the upgraded variant to the Leagoo S9 which is now available on shopping stores. The S9 Pro was introduced during the Mobile Week alongside the S10, it focuses on heavy users.

The S9 Pro comes with a massive 6GB RAM and 128GB storage space, nonetheless, there’s a cheaper variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. The dual cameras have been enhanced as well.

Design and Display

It looks exactly like the Leagoo S9, sporting a Metallic unibody with glossy finishing. The body also has nice rounded corners and it should be quite a pleasure to hold and flaunt. There’s a rear fingerprint scanner for quick access to the device.

While the dual rear shooter looks like what we saw on the iPhone X, the positioning of the dual camera is very striking with the LED flash sitting pretty in the middle.

Leagoo S9 Pro

Just like the S9, the S9 Pro sports a notched screen. There isn’t much difference in terms of display here except the curved nature of the screen. Everything on the screen is curved, from the notch to the bottom chin as well.

The tall 6.18-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is really impressive and stunning. It boasts of 1080 x 2160 pixels in resolution and 402 pixel per inch density. The screen has a lamination technology, 178 degree viewing angle and a Dragontrail Glass on top.

Hardware and Software

It’s powered by the MediaTek Helio P23 MT6763T chip, this was built on a 16nm process technology. It has an octa-core processor which clocks at 2.0GHz. While the ARM Mali-G71 MP2 graphics card clocks at 770MHz.

The Pro version has two variants in terms of RAM and storage space. There’s a standard version with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Then there’s a cheaper variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Leagoo S9 Pro Camera

The 16MP + 5MP dual shooters will work together to deliver amazing photographs. The 16MP Sony camera has f/2.0 aperture, 75 degree wide angle lens, 5P Lens and 1.133um pixel size. While the 13MP selfie camera has f/2.0 aperture as well, with 4P Lens and OmniVision PureCel Sensor.

Network and Connectivity

The S9 Pro supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIM. It also has support for Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack, USB port, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS.
