DESIGN

The Leagoo Z5C sports a beautiful shining body that reflects light beautifully. You might think that’s Metal but it’s actually Plastic, we have to give it to Leagoo though, they make the most attractive budget smartphones.

It sports dual antenna lines that beautify the rear, while the rear camera is at the top middle. Underneath the rear shooter is a dual-LED flash, while the loudspeaker is at the bottom. Measuring 8.9mm in thickness and weighing 147g overall. The Z5C is available in Black, Champagne and White colours.

DISPLAY

Lots of bezels are visible here, but we have to keep in mind the device was created two years ago. Houses three navigation buttons at the bottom bezel while the top houses the usual features.

The 5-inch FWVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen is pretty standard with 480 x 854 pixels in resolution. The details on the screen should be clear enough with 196 pixels per inch density but don’t expect magic though. Overall, the screen stretches up to 67% screen to body ratio.

HARDWARE and SOFTWARE

Running the race here is a Spreadtrum SC7731G chip with 4-cores of processor and 32-bit CPU architecture. The quad-core processor runs at a speed of 1.3GHz with a 28nm process technology offering fast performance. Handling graphics is the ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics processor with 2-Cores.

Like most budget smartphones it has just 1GB of RAM space available and reaches a memory speed of 533MHz. In terms of storage, 8GB is available and upgradeable up to 32GB with a memory card. The Z5c smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a modified user interface.

CAMERA

The 5MP rear shooter has f/2.4 aperture, 3P Lens, Hynix Hi-553 CMOS BSI Sensor and dual-LED flash. With the Leagoo Z5C, you can capture photographs with 2592 x 1944 pixels in dimension. The 2MP selfie camera has f/2.8 aperture and GalaxyCore GC0409 lens for cute selfies.

BATTERY

The Leagoo Z5C is powered by a removable Li-Ion 2300mAh battery with no fast charging technology.
