LG G7 One has been launched in Berlin as the company’s latest mid-range offerings. The G7 One houses the Snapdragon 845 chipset with octa-core processor and is part of the Android One program.
It runs on stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and of course spots the notch display. This is an upgrade to the G6 we saw months ago, the G7 One is built around a 6.1-inch QHD+ display.

Design And Display
The G7 One has an aluminium alloy overall unibody with IP68 certifications offering dust and water resistant. At the top middle, we can see the single rear camera and fingerprint scanner.
Then there’s the “Android One” logo in the middle which shows the phone is part of the Android One program. It measures 7.9mm in thickness and should be easy to operate with one hand, weighing 156g.
If you’re a fan of LG and you want a notched smartphone on a budget, then this is what LG has to offer. It comes with a minimal notch, which houses the selfie camera and other features.
It sports a tall 6.1-inch QHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which has a resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and 563 pixels per inch density. It also stretches up to 82.9% screen-to-body ratio.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 835 from last year takes centre stage. The older chipset has an 8-core processor that is clocked at 2.35GHz for a smooth performance. It is aided with the Adreno 540 graphics processor.
It has 4GB of RAM available for everything multitasking. Although the storage space was reduced a bit to 32GB, however, you can upgrade up to 512GB. Of course, it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Camera And Connectivity
It’s equipped with a 16MP rear camera, this has an f/1.6 aperture, 31mm lens, 1/3.1″ sensor size, 1.0µm pixel size. The camera is also loaded with phase detection autofocus, laser autofocus and other features. It shoots 4K videos @30fps, while the 8MP selfie shooter has an f/1.9 aperture.
The G7 One supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs. It also has support for Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm jack, USB Type C, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.
Battery And Availability
The LG G7 One is powered by a non-removable 3000mAh battery with fast charging technology. LG G7 One will be available on shopping stores, starting from $299 to $349, that’s about (N100,000 – N120,000).
