One of the most anticipated device at the MWC event this month is the LG G8 ThinQ. The device will be officially launched during the event. But another rumour about the device has been revealed. This time, it is coming from an industry expert Evan Blass. He shared a fresh render of the device – revealing the entire design of the smartphone from all angles.
LG G8 ThinQ Renders
The device will come with a notched display. Most of the specs of the device is a replica of the G7 ThinQ. The front design is similar to the G7 ThinQ smartphone. Even the size of the notch on the G8 ThinQ is similar to the G7 ThinQ. But the bezel of the device is a bit smaller than the previous models.
The backside features a dual camera setup and fingerprint scanner and the backside is made of glass. But the previous G7 ThinQ had a vertical dual camera module. Also, the name of the G8 ThinQ is placed at the centre of the back panel with the LG branding placed towards the bottom of the device. The device features a USB – C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. And for accessing google assistant, the left edge of the device comes with a volume rocker and a dedicated button.
SPECIFICATIONS
The device is expected to come with a 6.1-inch OLD display which will offer quad HD+ with 1440×3120 pixels resolution. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and could also come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage which can be expanded using a microSD. The device will likely come with Android 9 Pie OS preloaded and 3,400mAh battery capacity.
PRICE
The device might be sold for $1,999 CAD in Canada while it might be sold for $900 in the US. The device will be announced during the MWC event on February 28 in Barcelona and rumours are going on that the company might still unveil other devices like the LG V50 ThinQ with 5G support.
