LG K11 Alpha was introduced a couple of days ago in Brazil as the latest instalment to the K series from LG. This is an update to the K10 smartphone which was introduced a couple of months ago.
The K11 Alpha runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, with the standard 2GB RAM and 16GB storage space. There’s an octa-core processor doing the number crunching underneath as well.

Design And Display
The device has a Plastic back with two antenna lines, this is exactly how LG makes their budget offerings. At the top middle, the rear camera starts a vertical train.
There’s a LED flash underneath, followed by a fingerprint scanner. There’s also a loudspeaker at the bottom corner as well. It measures 8.68mm in thickness and weighs 162g overall. You should be able to get it in Blue and Gold colours.
If you are not into the trendy 18:9 or 19:9 screen, then you would love this. The device sports the standard 16:9 aspect ratio screen. The bezels are considerably thick and pretty visible as well.
It has a 5.3-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, this boasts of 720 x 1280 pixels in resolution and 277 pixels per inch density for clear visuals. It stretches up to 69.38% screen-to-body ratio as well.
Hardware and Software
The K11 adopts the MediaTek MT6750 mid-range chip to work as the brain here. Although the device was built on an older 28nm process technology, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 1.5GHz.
The graphics unit is being dominated by the ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics card. It comes with 2GB of RAM space reaching a smooth memory speed. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and has 16GB storage space.
Camera, Network And Connectivity
It’s equipped with an 8MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1/3.06″ sensor size, 1.12 μm pixel size and a LED flash. For selfies, the 5MP selfie camera has 1/4″ sensor size and 1.12 μm pixel size.
The Alpha supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs. It also has support for Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack, USB port, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.

The LG K11 Alpha is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 3000mAh battery with fast charging technology. LG K11 Alpha will be available on shopping stores, starting from $269 to $299, that’s about (N85,000 – N100,000).
