LG Q STYLUS PLUS DESIGN
A combination of aluminium alloy and Polycarbonate exudes at the rear, just like what we saw on its little sibling. The body is of MIL-STD-810G compliant and offers rigidity as well. Yes, the device can survive a few falls with its shock resistant body.
Speaking of resistant, with its IP68 certifications, you can go swimming with the device. But it shouldn’t stay more than 30 minutes underwater, it offers dust resistant as well. The Q Stylus Plus measures 8.4 mm in thickness, weighs 172g overall and available in Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet.
LG Q STYLUS PLUS DISPLAY
Just like what we saw on the Q7 and Q Stylus, the Q Stylus Plus sports the full view display. Compared to the Q7, the bezels on the Q Stylus Plus has been drastically reduced and it offers more screen and less bezels overall.
The device is built around the same 6.2-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. Details on the screen should come out great thanks to its resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a 389 pixel per inch density. Additionally, the screen covers 80% of the entire front.
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
The Snapdragon 450 chip from Qualcomm runs the race here, it’s built in a 14nm process technology for better power efficiency. The chip comes with an Octa-core processor which clocks at a smooth speed of 1.8GHz. In the graphics department, the Adreno 506 clocks at 600MHz.
The Plus version lets you multitask more heavy apps than you use to, thanks to the 4GB of RAM. The RAM has a memory speed of 933MHz, while the storage space has gotten a boost as well. 64GB is now ready to accommodate files, with an option to expand up to 400GB using a memory card. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
LG Q STYLUS PLUS CAMERA
Like its sibling, it sports a 16MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture, this enables more light in for an improved photography performance in low light environments. Features on the camera include phase detection autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR. You can record sharp videos of 1080p @30fps and take cute selfies with the 8MP selfie shooter.
