LG Q StylusA is one of the smartphones from the Q Stylus series that was introduced by LG. The Q StylusA is the cheapest of the pack and was specifically made for those on a budget. However, it still comes with the Stylus Pen.
That’s not all, the cheaper variant also boasts of the QLens technology with DTS:X 3D surround sound the series is known for. There’s a watered-down 3GB of RAM, 32GB storage space, while running on Android 8.1 Oreo.

LG Q StylusA DESIGN
It looks exactly like its siblings, you can hardly tear them apart. Well, until you drop it into the water, the Q StylusA is not water and dust resistant like its siblings and doesn’t come with any IPXX certification. There’s also no confirmation of protection during falls.
Nonetheless, it has an aluminium alloy body and comes with a Stylus Pen. Just the the Q Stylus series, it measures 8.4 mm in thickness, weighs 172g overall and available in Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet.
LG Q StylusA DISPLAY
Another good feature on the LG Q StylusA is the screen, it has the same FHD+ screen like the Q Stylus Plus and retails at a cheaper price as well. You still get the same 18:9 aspect ratio screen with super minimal bezels.
We can also see the same 6.2-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen here. It still retained the same 1080 x 2160 pixels in resolution and a 389 pixel per inch density. The screen also boasts of 80% screen-to-body ratio.
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
The Q StylusA is driven by the Snapdragon 450 chip from Qualcomm which is built on a 14nm process technology. It boasts of an Octa-core processor, this clocks at a smooth speed of 1.8GHz. In the graphics department, the Adreno 506 clocks at 600MHz and handles graphics well.
The 3GB of RAM on the device should be more than enough for the average user, keeping in mind it has a memory speed of 933MHz. In the storage department, you also get the standard 32GB storage space, which of course is upgradeable up to 400GB using a memory card. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box as well.
LG Q StylusA CAMERA
The quality of the camera has been reduced, well, more like the pixels. There’s now a 13MP shooter at the rear with f/2.0 aperture. Nonetheless, the camera still comes with a lot of features like phase detection autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR. You can still record sharp videos of 1080p @30fps, but the selfie camera is now a 5MP shooter.
LG Q StylusA BATTERY
The LG Q StylusA is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 3300mAh battery with fast charging technology.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
LG Q StylusA is available on shopping stores, starting from $149 to $199, that’s about (N55,000 – N70,000).
