Apple iPhone XS Max is the bigger version of the XS flagship smartphone. The Max version targets those who love big screen devices. Apart from the bigger display, most of its features are identical to the iPhone XS.
The XS Max is also powered by the new flagship A12 Bionic chipset. It will also be heavier thanks to its overall bigger built. This was done to be able to keep up with the big screen phones from other OEMs.

Design And Display
The new iPhone XS Max looks exactly like the XS, except for its bigger overall built and bigger display. It’s made of Stainless Steel and furnished with glass to achieve a more premium overall look.
The usual dual rear camera with the LED flash in-between is present here as well. While the Apple logo, of course, sits in its usual position. Surprisingly, it measures the same 7.7mm thickness as the XS but weighs more at 208g.
You get a bigger display with the XS Max, Apple made sure the screen got up to 6.5-inch for big screen lovers. It’s still the same Super Retina AMOLED display though, only bigger plus the usual notch. It sports a bigger 6.5-inch Super Retina AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1242 x 2688 pixels and 458 pixels per inch density for sharp visuals. The screen also stretches up to 84.4% screen-to-body ratio.
Hardware and Software
The new iPhone Xs Max is one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful Smartphone on the planet. It is powered by the new A12 Bionic chip from Apple. We have to keep in mind that this is the first 7nm chipset to hit the market. It has a 6-core processor with a clock speed of up to 2.5GHz which is impressive. This new chipset will definitely leapfrog the fastest Android device in the market currently. The processor is boosted with Apple GPU which also come with an 8-core neural engine.
For multitasking, you get the same 4GB of RAM space available. While in the storage department, you also get to choose from three variants like 64GB/256GB and 512GB. It runs on the latest iOS 12 operating system.
Camera, Network And Connectivity
Just like the iPhone XS, the XS Max sports the same 12MP + 12MP rear shooter with f/1.8 + f/2.4 aperture respectively. This is the same configuration found on last year’s iPhone X but according to Apple, the camera has been improved upon in terms of low light capability, High dynamic range as well as in background blurring capability. The main 12MP rear camera has 28mm sensor size, 1.4µm pixel size with PDAF, OIS and other features. The same 7MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture handles selfies.
The XS Max supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs, while the US version supports a single SIM and eSIM. It also has support for Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type C, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.
Battery, Price And Availability
The Apple iPhone XS Max is powered by a non-removable 2716mAh battery with fast and wireless charging technology. Apple iPhone XS Max will be available on shopping stores, starting from $1099 to $1199, that’s about (N400,000 – N440,000).
