Today’s Xiaomi mega launch event wasn’t only about the high-end users. The company released new mid-rangers, one of which is the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G. The device becomes the first smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 780G chip.
The new 5G phone comes in a 6.55″ AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The power key on the right-hand side doubles as the fingerprint reader for biometric authentication. On the top-left corner of the display is a single punch-hole that features a 16MP selfie cam. The camera setup at the back consists of a 64MP f/1.8 main snapper, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide snapper, and a 5MP macro snapper with autofocus.
The Snapdragon 780G chip features a CPU clocked at 2.4GHz speed and an Adreno 642 GPU for graphics. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G uses a 4,250 mAh battery capacity and supports a 33W fast wired charging speed.
There is a non-5G variant of this phone which uses a Snapdragon 732G chip with no NFC. That’s about the only difference between them. It will be available in Pink, Blue and Black body colours with the 6/64GB base model priced at €299.
The Mi 11 Lite 5G comes in Black, Green and Yellow colours. Its starting price is €369 for the base model – 6/128GB. The second memory configuration is 8/128GB.
