Motorola P30 Note Specs and Price

Motorola P30 Note has been launched in China but this time around, it does not run on stock Android. Yes, the P30 Note is almost identical to the One Power but runs on the latest ZUI 4.0.

The P30 Note also sports the trendy FHD+ notched display. It’s also powered by the Snapdragon 636 chip just like the P30 we reviewed earlier. Let’s find out more.

Design And Display

The first thing you’d notice at the rear is the iPhone X-like dual rear shooters. The cameras are vertical at the top left corner with the LED flash sitting in-between.

The Motorola logo doubles as the fingerprint scanner granting quick access to the device in less than a second. It has a dimension of 156 x 76 x 8.4 mm and it weighs 198g.

Turning to the front, you will be greeted by the notch. It sure looks like the iPhone X from the front thanks to the gradient wallpaper on the screen. There’s another Motorola logo at the bottom chin as well. It’s built around a 6.2-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels and 402 pixels per inch density for sharp visuals. The screen also stretches up to 83% screen-to-body ratio.

Hardware and Software

The Snapdragon 636 chip from Qualcomm takes control underneath. The chip comes along with an octa-core processor clocking at 2.8GHz as well. While the Adreno 509 graphics card handles graphics.

There are two variants when it comes to RAM and storage space. There’s a standard version with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. While the cheaper variant has 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and will receive Android 9.0 Pie.

In the photography department, the phone is equipped with dual 16MP + 5MP rear camera. The 13MP is the main camera with f/2.0 aperture and Phase Detection, while the 5MP is for background blur. The selfie camera is a 12MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture as well.

The P30 Note supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs. It also has support for Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type C, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.

Battery And Availability

The Motorola P30 Note is powered by a non-removable 5000mAh battery with fast charging technology. Motorola P30 Note will be available on shopping stores, starting from $299 to $349, that’s about (N100,000 – N120,000).
