MWC 2019 which is scheduled to commence on the 25th is fast approaching and lots of smartphones will be unveiled at the event. However, it seems like some smartphone maker couldn’t wait any longer as we’ve already seen some smartphones unveiled already, some of which includes the Samsung Galaxy S10 Trio and Xiaomi Mi 9. Nokia seems to be following the tends as they’ve announced that they will also be unveiled their new smartphone – Nokia 9 Purview – a day before MWC 2019 kicks off, on the 24 of February.
The Launch of the Nokia 9 PureView has been confirmed for February 24 and will commence at 16:00 local time in Barcelona. It will also be streamed live on both YouTube and Facebook so those who couldn’t attend the Launch can stream from anywhere in the world.

Now, Not much is known about the Nokia 9 Purview but thanks to the leaks that have flooded the internet these past weeks, we’ve got a clue of what to expect. First off is the most talked about feature of the smartphone – the camera. If the renders are anything to go by, the Nokia 9 Purview will have a total of 6 cameras on the back alone. The 6 cameras comprise of two 12MP cameras, two 16MP cameras and one 8MP depth sensor camera.
Giving that this device is a flagship device, nothing short of the new Snapdragon 855 Chipset is expected although it has previously been spotted on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 845 SoC. This will be paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM with only one storage option – 128GB. As for the display, we’re expecting a 5.9-inch display with an In-display fingerprint sensor as no rear fingerprint sensor was seen in the leaked renders.
As for the battery, it will feature a 4,150mAh battery capacity which will have support for an 18W fast charging and even support for wireless charging. All these are bits and pieces of rumoured specifications, leaks and renders so take it with a pinch of salt till the official Launch which is only days from now.
