Have you heard about Nuu Mobile before? it is a new mobile phone brand and from what I learnt, NUU Mobile is a designer and manufacturer of unlocked Android™ smartphones. Following its global launch in 2012, the Chinese company has expanded steadily throughout Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

The Nuu G3 is its latest smartphone with curved edge display. The sleek smartphone comes with flagship specs and features and looks a bit like the Galaxy S9 Plus. Nuu Mobile really brought its A game with this smartphone.

DESIGN

Nuu has been a trendsetter in terms of designing their smartphones and the company pulled through with this. The Metal unibody has been covered with an edge to edge curved glass that fits perfectly in your hand. The glass totally compliments its sleek body no doubt.

We can see the dual shooters sitting comfortably in a vertical position at the top middle. There’s a fingerprint scanner underneath and a LED flash beside them. The device measures 9mm in thickness and available in blue colours only.

DISPLAY

Experience an exquisite and unprecedented viewing experience with the G3. The screen dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio and stretches all the way to the extreme sides for taller visuals in landscape mode.

The bottom bezel is vacant, while the top houses the usual features. The 5.7-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen boasts of 1440 x 720 pixels in resolution and 282 pixels per inch density. There’s a 2.75D curved glass protecting the screen.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

The Nuu G3 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P25, an octa-core processor with 64-bit CPU architecture. The octa-core processor clocks at a blazing speed of 2.39GHz with 16nm FinFET+ process technology offering fast performance. While the ARM Mali-T880 MP2 graphics processor clocks at almost 1GHz.

Multitask through demanding tasks and apps with its 4GB RAM space that has a memory speed of 933MHz. Store all your files and apps in its 64GB space available and upgrade up to 128GB as well. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with a modified user interface.

CAMERA

The dual 13MP rear shooters on the G3 has f/2.0 aperture which reduces noise and enables clear and bright images even in low light environments. There’s HDR and a lock-on function that helps keep moving subjects in sharp focus for you to capture. The 13MP selfie camera has an 88-degree wide angle lens, beautify technology and front LED flash. The selfie camera also supports Face ID by studying your facial features and letting you unlock the device at a glance.

The Nuu G3 is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 3000mAh battery with fast charging technology.
