OPPO F1s Review
The OPPO F1s is an upgrade of the F1 Plus, from the company’s selfie series. The F series has an amazing camera at the front for perfect selfies. If you are a selfie enthusiast, you should definitely check out Oppo’s F range of smartphones.
DESIGN
From a distance, it looks like the iPhone 6 without the Apple logo. The device was designed to perfection and works pretty well on the inside too. It has a full aluminium body and a front glass on the screen. The F1s supports dual Nano SIM, while the fingerprint doubles with the home button.
A masterpiece, the F1s has curved edges and portable to hold as well. It measures 7.4mm slim, weighs 160g and available in Gold, Rose Gold and Gray colours.
DISPLAY
The smartphone boasts of a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The screen to body ratio stands at just 71%, as the phone sports huge annoying bezels.
The screen has 16:9 aspect ratio, and protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Bringing the screen to live with sharp objects, is the 267 ppi density pixel per inch density.
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
Doing all the work underneath is the MediaTek MT6755 chipset with Octa-core 1.5 GHz processor. The graphics processing unit is a Mali-T860MP2, as the phone runs smoothly on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Color OS 3.0 skin makes the screen attractive and easy to navigate. In terms of RAM and internal storage, there are two versions by Oppo. One has 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM, while a cheaper variant has 32GB ROM and 3GB RAM. Nevertheless, both versions can be upgraded to 256GB using microSD.
CAMERA
The highlight of this device is the front 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. It also boasts of beautifying 4.0, lots of inbuilt filters and Selfie Panorama feature. The Selfie Panorama feature lets you rotate your phone sideways to capture wide-angle selfies.
The 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture also captures wonderful night shots. Features on the camera include; phase detection autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and HDR.
BATTERY
The Oppo F1s is powered by a 3075mAh Non-Removable battery, which keeps the device running throughout the day.
