The Oppo A3 has been launched by the Chinese company as an update to the Oppo A1 smartphone. This is coming just weeks after its predecessor was unveiled as well. The midrange smartphone packs a bunch in terms of internal storage, a massive 128GB space is available.
Apart from the storage space, it has a massive display screen with top-notch as well. An octa-core processor from a MediaTek Helio P60 chip, 4GB of RAM and a clear 16MP rear camera. Without further ado, meet the Oppo A3.

DESIGN
The A3 has a unique design we don’t see everytime from Oppo. Its Aluminum alloy body has lots of triangle-like shapes and it’s covered exquisitely in glass which reflects light beautifully. Due to the glass back, there’s no fingerprint scanner at the rear which is really disappointing.
The rear camera and LED flash is visible at the top left corner, while the Oppo logo is in its usual position. It measures 7.8mm in thickness when you turn over to the sides and weighs 159g overall. Furthermore, you can get it in Knight Black, Soybean Meal, Stardust Silver and Garnet Red colours.
DISPLAY
Just like the F3, the Oppo A3 sports the notch at the top as well. The screen dishes out a 19:9 aspect ratio with extremely narrow bezels as well. I think it’s safe to say the bottom bezel won’t be going away completely anytime soon.
The 6.2-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is breathtaking and stunning. Boasting of 1080 x 2280 pixels in resolution and 405 pixels per inch density, bringing out the details on the screen pretty nicely. The screen stretches up to 82.5% screen-to-body ratio, which is impressive for a midrange.
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
Taking charge underneath is the Mediatek Helio P60 chip with 8-cores processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The Octa-core processor here reaches a fast speed of 2.0GHz with 12nm FinFET process technology. In the graphics department, the Mali-G72 MP3 graphics processor clocks at 800MHz.
There’s 4GB of RAM space available here for multitasking through your favourite apps. Then you can store up everything you want on the massive 128GB storage space that’s available as well. Just in case you need more space, you can upgrade up to 256GB with a memory card. The Oppo A3 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
CAMERA
The 16MP rear shooter can be substituted for a digital camera, the lens has f/1.8 aperture letting you take amazing photographs in low light. The camera boasts of features like phase detection autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama and others. Videos of 1080 pixels are recorded at 30 frames per second, while the 8MP selfie shooter has f/2.2 aperture.

The Oppo A3 is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 3400mAh battery with fast charging technology.
