Oppo Mobile has unveiled the newest member of the A-series. The Oppo A52 debuts in China and is already listed on the company’s website.
The mid-range device weighs 192 grams and measures 8.9mm in thickness. It features a 6.5-inch display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and 90.5% screen-to-body ratio. A punch-hole is craved in the top left side of the display which is home to an 8MP selfie camera.
At the back is a rectangular shaped camera module. This setup consists of a 12MP main lens, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens, two 2MP lenses and a LED flash.
The Oppo phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC which is paired with an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It runs on the latest Android 10 operating system with ColorOS 7.1 on top. To ensure at least a day of normal usage, the phone packs a 5,000 mAh battery capacity. Charging shouldn’t be much of a hassle thanks to an 18W fast wired charging support.
Other notable features of the Oppo A52 includes a side-mounted fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi, LTE, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth and USB Type-C port.
The Oppo A52 is available in Blue and Black body colours. You can purchase the phone in China via Oppo’s website. The lone memory configuration of 8GB/128GB costs CNY1,599 which is around $225. Oppo is yet to disclose if and when the smartphone will be available in the global market.
