Oppo Realme 2 Pro has been launched a few weeks after we saw the Realme 2. The Realme 2 Pro comes with a water drop notch display and sport a fingerprint scanner.
Internally, it’s powered by a capable Snapdragon 660 chipset from Qualcomm and a 3500mAh battery. While externally, it sports a taller 6.3 FHD+ display. Let’s find out more.

Design And Display
Just like the Realme 2, the Oppo Realme 2 Pro exudes a shimmering diamond pattern finish as well. It sports a rear fingerprint scanner which is well placed at the back. The device design looks a lot like it was glass but actually, it was made of glass. At the back, the dual rear shooters are present at the top left corner in a horizontal position. It will be available in Black, Deep Blue, and Light Blue. The device measures 156.7 x 74 x 8.5 mm in dimension and weighs 174g overall.
The Realme 2 Pro dishes out a much taller display compared to its predecessor, all thanks to the tiny notch. Even the bottom chin has been reduced further as well.
It sports a tall 6.3-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 409 pixels per inch density. The 6.3″ display is almost bezel-less, with the almost coming from the tiny chin at the bottom needed to hide the display controller. It also stretches up to 84.2% screen-to-body ratio.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 660 from Qualcomm. An 8-core processor that is clocked at 2.0 GHz for a smooth performance. In the graphics department, it is aided with the Adreno 512 GPU
There are three RAM and two storage variants here, there’s one with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM, the second version has 6GB RAM and 64GB storage while the most specced variant has 128GB storage and a massive 8GB RAM. They are all expandable up to 256GB. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with Color OS 5.2.
Camera And Connectivity
In the camera department, it is quite an upgrade compared to the Realme 2. It sports dual rear camera comprising of 16MP + 2MP. The 16MP main camera has an f/1.7 while the 2MP depth-sensing camera has an f/2.0 aperture respectively. There’s a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture as well.
The Realme 2 Pro supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs. It also has support for Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm jack, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.
Battery And Availability
The Oppo Realme 2 Pro is powered by a non-removable 3500mAh battery with fast charging technology. Oppo Realme 2 Pro will be available on shopping stores, starting from INR13,990 ($192/€165) to INR17,990 ($250/€212.
