The Reno Ace runs on Oppo’s ColorOS 6.1 custom skin on top of Android 10. Hardware-wise, it comes with a Snapdragon 855+ SoC laced with either an 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage.

This Oppo flagship comes with a decent 4,000 mAh battery capacity. The device debuts Oppo’s latest charging technology; SuperVOOC 2.0. According to the company, the 65W charger can juice up the phone in just under 30 minutes. The charger also supports the standard Qualcomm’s quick charge.

Just like we see in most flagship device nowadays, the Reno Ace has a special edition called “Oppo Reno Ace Gundam”. This edition celebrates Gundam’s 40th year anniversary. Gundam is a Japanese science fiction franchise company that basically features giants robots. This Oppo Reno Ace Gundam comes with a special paint job at the back just underneath the quad-camera module. The paint job comes in either red or blue colour. No word yet on the availability or price of this special edition phone.

However, the normal Reno Ace will be available in Starry Blue and Psychedelic Purple. The base model (8/128GB) starts at $422, the 256GB storage version with 8GB RAM goes for $450. Then the maximum spec of 12/256GB will cost you $534
