OPPO Reno and Reno 10x Zoom Launch in China — Complete Specs and Price

The OPPO Reno series was unveiled, recently, in a thrilling event held in China. The China-based phone maker has launched Oppo Reno 10x Zoom, packed with flagship specifications such as a 48-MP triple camera setup, equipped with 10x hybrid zoom support. The Oppo Reno standard edition, an upper mid-ranger powered by the Snapdragon 710 SoC, has also been released along with the 10x zoom smartphone.

The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom features a glass rear as well as 7000-series aluminum alloy frame. Its dimension is pegged at 162 x 77.2 x 9.3mm and its weight 210g. The Reno 10x Zoom’s 6.65” AMOLED display has a notch-less appeal and supports full HD+ resolution of 2340 pixels by 1080 pixels. This new device comes with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.3%. Its HDR 10+ complaint display is embedded with 6th-gen in-display fingerprint reader, shielded by Gorilla Glass 6 protective layer.

The smartphone draws power from the Snapdragon 855 SoC, which works alongside up to 8GB of RAM and internal storage of 256 GB. It offers external storage if you need more storage.

On the top edge of the handset, there’s a uniquely designed “shark fin” shaped pop-up module, which contains a 16-MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. And there’s triple rear camera setup comprising an OIS enabled 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 f/1.7 aperture primary sensor, an f/2.2 aperture 8-MP secondary sensor as well as a periscope telescopic lens that has 13MP with OIS. This setup is equipped with laser autofocus and dual-LED flash.

The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom has Android v9 Pie with ColorOS 6 skin preinstalled on it. The 4065-mAh non-removable battery of the mobile device allows VOOC 3.0 fast charging and features a copper tub liquid cooling heat sink, for heat dissipation.

The phone is also equipped with dual-band GPS technology for tracking locations accurately. Its connectivity options include NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and many others. There’s Breeno Assistant onboard which helps the phone to understand your habits. It carries support for Game Boost 2.0 acceleration engine for optimized gaming experience, and also comes with Dolby Atmos for audiophiles.

This handset comes with a smaller notch-less AMOLED display, which has 6.4 inches offering full HD+ resolution as well as an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The smartphone is equally fitted with an in-display fingerprint reader, and its screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 6. Its dimension and weight are 156.6 x 74.3 x 9mm and 185g, respectively.

The device ships with the Snapdragon 710, working in tandem with 8 GB of RAM and built-in storage of 256 GB (microSD card slot is available for additional storage).

The OPPO Reno offers OIS assisted 48MP & 5MP dual rear camera, with an LED-enabled 16-MP pop-up selfie shooter. It packs a 3765-mAh non-removable battery with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
