Oukitel K9 is the latest smartphone from Oukitel. It seems to check all the right boxes in the mid-range segment. It has a large 7.12-inch FHD+ notched display, a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
It has a total of three cameras, 4G LTE connectivity support and a 6,000mAh battery with a very impressive fast charging feature. Let’s dig a little deeper in the specs.

Oukitel K9 Design And Display
Oukitel K9 has a pretty standard plastic + metal frame build which helps keep the cost low. Regardless of the build, it is still pretty sturdy and looks premium. The display is a gigantic 7.12-inch IPS LCD panel with an FHD+ resolution.
It also uses a 19:9 aspect ratios for the display with a waterdrop cutout at the top for the front-facing camera. There is also quite a big chin down below but it’s quite easy to overlook given how big the display is.
At the back of the device are the usuals; the dual-camera setup, an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor for biometric unlock and authentications. The device weighs 232grams and measures 8.9mm in thickness with only two colours options to choose from – Blue and Black. It also uses a hybrid SIM slot which means the second SIM card slot doubles as a microSD card slot for additional storage.
Oukitel K9 Camera Review
Oukitel K9 has a total of three cameras, two at the back and one at the front for selfies. The selfie camera is an 8MP sensor with FaceID support. At the back, we have a 16MP main sensor accompanied by a secondary 2MP depth sensor for portrait mode shots. The rear camera is capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30fps with features like PDAF, panorama, HDR and more.
Software & Performance
Oukitel went with the Helio P35 SoC from Mediatek for the Oukitel K9 here. The MediaTek Helio P35 SoC is a chipset based on the 12nm process technology with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU for graphics and games. 4GB of RAM takes care of multitasking while 64GB of internal storage stores your files.
More storage can be added but at the expense of a SIM card as it uses a hybrid SIM card slot – Two SIM or One SIM and a microSD card. You can add additional storage of up to 256GB via the second SIM card slot which also doubles as a microSD card slot. It runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box which isn’t a surprise for a 2019 smartphone.

Powering the massive 7.12-inch display is also a massive 6,000mAh battery which has a 5V/6A fast battery charging capable of giving this device a full charge within an hour and 30 minutes. It also has 4G LTE connectivity with support for global bands. Other features of the Oukitel K9 includes WiFi, WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm jack and a USB Type-C port for charging and file transfer.
