The Pixel 7 was released alongside the Pixel 7 Pro and this year they come with some slight upgrades. First, it comes with a premium glass build with aluminum frames. The phone also has IP68 water and dust resistance rating. It also has support for a 5G Nano sim or eSIM, there are also two cameras at the back that we will talk about in a bit.
The Pixel 7 has a 6.3-inch AMOLED display, with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. It has a different display from the pro model even though they are both AMOLED. The display is really bright and can get up to 1400 nits outdoors. It also has an 85% screen-to-body ratio making the bezels noticeable. The display is also protected by the corning gorilla glass victus. It is responsive to touch with a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The phone also has an under-display optical fingerprint scanner. There is also a punch-hole camera cut out on the display for selfie images.
The Pixel 7 is running on Android 13 and it is powered by the same Google tensor G2 chipset found on the 7 pro. It has 8GB RAM with up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage space, it doesn’t have an SD card slot. Performance is really smooth, especially with what we had on the first-generation Google Tensor chipset. It will be able to run any game smoothly without any glitches.
