Realme unveils UltraDart Charging; 33% In Just 3 Minutes

At its MWC 2022 event, Realme announced the 150W UltraDart Charging technology and revealed a few details about the upcoming fast charging technology. Let’s take a closer look at what we’ve gathered so far about the tech.

Realme UltraDart Charging

According to Realme, its 150W UltraDart Charging technology has been in development for some time. It’s similar to Xiaomi’s 200W charging technology, which was announced last year and is designed to support charging powers ranging from 100W to 200W.

The upcoming UltraDart Charging architecture, according to Realme, will be based on three key technological advancements developed by the Chinese company. Multiple charging pumps will be used to boost the charging current delivered to a device. This means that the charging system could charge a device much faster than current fast-charging technologies.

Realme claims that future Realme devices that support the 150W charging technology can be charged from 0% to 50% in just 5 minutes.

Realme has integrated a “Ultra Heat Management” algorithm to combat the thermal and throttling issues that plague smartphones. This algorithm keeps the temperature from rising too high. According to Realme, it will keep temperatures below 43 degrees Celsius. Finally, the UltraDart Charging system will employ industry-leading lithium-ion batteries capable of handling higher maximum charging current in smartphones.

When it comes to UltraDart Charging architecture devices, the Realme GT Neo 3 will be the first to support the 150W fast charging technology. As a result, the Realme GT Neo 3 will have the fastest charging speed in the world. Although the GT Neo 3’s launch date was not revealed, the company promised to provide more information in the coming days. So, stay tuned for more information, and let us know what you think of Realme’s upcoming fast-charging technology in the comments section.
