Realme X50m 5G arrives with 120Hz display and 48MP Quad Camera

Realme announced the third member of the X50 series this week – Realme X50m. The first two is the standard X50 and the X50 Pro. All three smartphones support 5G.

The Realme X50m sports a 6.57-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. There is a pill-shaped hole inscribed at the top left of the display which features two selfie cameras – 16MP wide-angle sensor and 2MP depth sensor.

At the back of the Realme phone is a quad-camera module. This consists of a 48MP main lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens with 119° Field of View, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP portrait sensor. The back design of the smartphone is identical to the Realme 6.

Powering the Realme X50m is the Snapdragon 765G SoC, which is the same chipset featured on the Realme X50. The phone supports dual-mode 5G (SA/NSA) along with NFC and Bluetooth 5.0. There are two memory configuration; 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB. The device runs on Realme UI which is based on Android 10 OS.

Battery-wise, the Realme device is equipped with a 4,200 mAh battery capacity. It supports 30W Dart fast wired charging capable of going from 0% to 70% in 30 minutes. There is no 3.5mm audio jack feature for this phone, so you have to make use of its USB-C port.

The smartphone will be available in China from April 29 in Starry Blue and Galaxy White body colours. The starting price for the base model is CNY1,999/$280/€260.
