Samsung Galaxy A10 is the first in what looks to be Samsung entry-level smartphones. The Galaxy A10 sports a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display, an Exynos 7884 Octa on the inside which is hooked up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB expandable storage. It has a single front-facing and rear-facing camera and is powered by a moderate 3,400mAh battery capacity with no fast charging. Let’s find out more.

Samsung Galaxy A10 Design And Display

Design-wise, the Samsung Galaxy A10 looks a like it’s A30 and A50 counterparts thanks to it’s a 6.1-inch display, although it uses an IPS LCD panel which is covered with glass for protection. Screen resolution is 720 x 1520 which brings the pixel per inch density to 271.

It has the new 19:9 aspect ratio with the water-drop notch which Samsung calls Infinity U display. No fingerprint sensor here both at the back or underneath the display. A single rear camera sits at the back with an LED flash. It also has a single SIM model and a dual SIM model, both of which have a dedicated MicroSD card slot.

The 13MP wide-angle camera at the rear with an f/1.9 aperture and AF can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps. It is also equipped with an LED flash, HDR and Panorama. The 5MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture is also equipped with an LED flash for all the lighting you need for your selfies.

Samsung’s 7884 Octa SoC reigns supreme here with 8 cores clocked at 1.6GHz. This is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is the only configuration available for this device. It also ships with Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung’s new One UI on top.

Battery & Network Connectivity

The 3,400mAh battery here doesn’t have fast battery charging or wireless charging which is understandable given that it is a budget device. It does, however, have 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, WiFi direct, WiFi hotspot, FM radio, a 3.5mm jack and a micro USB port for charging.
