Samsung galaxy A10s is a pretty standard mid-range device with a plastic back and a slab of glass on the 6.2-inch notched IPS LCD display.

The display has an HD+ resolution with a pixel per inch density of 271 and a screen-to-body ratio of 80%.

At the top of the display is the notch which houses the front-facing camera which can also be used for face unlock.

The back which is made of plastic has a dual-camera setup alongside an LED flash at the top left corner while the fingerprint sensor sits at its usual spot for biometric unlock. There is a microUSB port at the bottom and the volume/power buttons on the side.

Samsung Galaxy A10s weighs 168grams and measures 7.8mm thickness with Blue, Green, Red and Black as the colour options to choose from.

It comes in both a single SIM and dual SIM variant, both of which come with a dedicated microSD slot for storage expansion.

Samsung Galaxy A10s Camera Specs

We have a total of three cameras here on the Samsung galaxy A10s, two of which are at the back. The one at the front located in the notch up top is a single 8MP shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. This selfie camera can also be used for face unlock.

Moving over to the back reveals the main 13MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture which has Autofocus alongside a second 2MP depth sensor camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

The rear camera is equipped with an LED flash for low light shots, HDR for good dynamic range and can also take portrait mode shots thanks to the second depth sensor camera. It can also shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.

 Hardware and Software

Running things from inside the phone is the Helio P22 SoC from Mediatek. This chipset had an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU for gaming. It also has either 2GB or 3GB of RAM depending on the one you get.

Both the 2GB and 3GB RAM variant come with a 32GB storage which can be expandable further, up to 512GB via the dedicated microSD slot. It boots Samsung’s own One UI with Android 9.0 Pie underneath.

Battery and Connectivity

This device has a 4,000mAh battery which is, in Samsung’s word “Ready to last”. Unfortunately, there is no mention of fast charging here. Other features of the Samsung galaxy A10s includes the 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, WiFi direct, GPS, FM radio and a microUSB port which is pretty outdated by today’s standards.
