Design
The Galaxy Note 10 weighs 168 gram which is lighter compared to the Note 9. It’s also slimmer, measuring 7.9mm in thickness.
With this year’s Note edition having a Plus version, it’s only right that the base version feels compact and easy to handle. The device features a curved front and back Corning Gorilla Glass 6 sandwiched with aluminium frame.
The phone comes with an IP68 water and dust resistant rating.
It is available in five body colour options; Aura Glow, Aura White, Aura Black, Aura Pink, and Aura Red. Though colour availability may be market dependent.
There is the usual Stylus pen with Bluetooth integration. Underneath the display is an ultrasonic fingerprint reader.
Display
The Galaxy Note 10 comes with edge-to-edge display technology, which is referred to as “Infinity-O” by Samsung.
The cut-out for the selfie camera is positioned at the centre rather than the side like the Galaxy S10. The AMOLED display measures 6.3-inch with FHD resolution, 401 PPI density, 19:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+ and Always-on display.
Hardware and Software
Just like every other Samsung flagship, the hardware composition is market dependent. The US market will get the Note 10 with Snapdragon 855 SoC.
While Europe, Middle East and Africa will get the Note 10 with Samsung’s Exynos 9825 SoC. Both chipsets are built on 7nm process technology.
No matter the market variant of the Note 10 you get, it is only available in one memory configuration; 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.
There is no microSD slot available, so that means no room for additional storage. Running inside the Note 10 is Android 9 Pie coated with Samsung’s One UI.
Camera
The camera formula of the Galaxy Note 10 is similar to the Galaxy S10. The triple rear camera is home to a 12MP f/1.5-2.4 (wide) main sensor, a 12MP f/2.1 (telephoto) sensor and a 16MP f/2.2 (ultrawide) sensor.
At the top centre of the display is a 10MP f/2.2 selfie camera with wide-angle capability. The selfie camera is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps. While the main camera setup can record both 30fps and 60fps.
Battery
Samsung opted for a reduced 3,500 mAh battery capacity for the Galaxy Note 10. If you need more battery capacity, you can opt for the Galaxy Note 10 Plus which features 4,300 mAh.
Charging overall should be a problem here as the phone supports all types. It comes with a 25W fast charger out of the box. While also supporting 15W Qi/PMA wireless charging and 9W Power bank/reverse wireless charging.
