Samsung has added another device to the A series. The company which launched the Galaxy A10, A30 and A50 a few weeks ago have launched the Galaxy A20.
The latest Samsung Galaxy A20 is powered by the Exynos 7884 SoC. That is also the same chip that the company used in the Galaxy A10. The device comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded to 512GB with the use of a microSD card.
As for the display, it came with 6.4 – an inch HD+ Infinity – V Super AMOLED display on the front. The back houses something that Samsung tagged 3D Glasstic design. It means that the phone is a combination of glass and plastic.
The back of the Samsung Galaxy A20 houses a dual camera setup – 13MP f/1.9 and 5MP f/2.2 modules. The device also came with an 8MP snapper selfie on the front with f/2.0 aperture. That is for taking a selfie and video calls. We can also see a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the device. And the battery capacity is 4,000mAh. For now, the device is only available in the Russian market. The price starts at RUB13,990 ($217/€191). The company did not reveal any information relating to the availability of the device in other markets.
If you can recall, you will discover that Samsung also launched the A30 and A50 series in Russia. The price of the A30 is RUB15,990 ($249/€219) while the price of the A50 is RUB19,990 ($311/€274).
