The Samsung Galaxy A40 has finally arrived in Europe. The press renders of the device was leaked earlier and now; we can confirm that the device has arrived. The device came with the Samsung Exynos 7885 chipset, a dual main camera, OneUI and a 25MP selfie shooter.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 comes between the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 and it came with a 5.9-inch Super AMOLED Panel with full HD+ resolution. The top of the device houses a notch which Samsung named “Infinity – U display”. As for the memory, it came with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be upgraded to 512GB with the use of a MicroSD card. There is a slot for MicroSD card.
In the camera department, it houses a 16MP + 5MP dual camera with regular and ultra-wide sensors just as the one seen in the Galaxy A30. There is a 25MP sensor, f/2.0 aperture front-facing snapper. That is still the same camera seen in the Galaxy A50.
The small (144.3 x 69.1 x 7.9mm) Samsung Galaxy A40 seems to be budget friendly with the price set at €249. It came in four colours – Blue, Black, Coral and white. Also, for the price above, you will get a 3,100mAh battery, Android Pie with OneUI on top and a fingerprint scanner on the back. Pre-ordering of the device have started and Dutch retailer Belsimpel has already started gathering pre-orders. And the official launch of the device is scheduled for April 10.
