Design and Display
At first glance, you would notice the dual rear shooters which are vertical at the top middle, with the fingerprint scanner underneath. Apart from that, there isn’t much difference in terms of design. The beautifully curved dual antenna lines still exude at the rear.
The Samsung logo and LED flash are still in their usual position as well. If you are used to having your 3.5mm jack at the top, then this might be weird. The Galaxy A6 Plus (2018) has its 3.5mm jack underneath alongside the USB charging port. It measures 7.9mm in thickness and available in Black, Gold, Blue and Lavender colours.

It houses the Snapdragon 450 chip from Qualcomm which has an 8-core processor with 64-bit CPU architecture. The Octa-core processor now performs faster with a clock speed of 1.8GHz and 14nm process technology. The Adreno 506 graphics processor from Qualcomm is now in charge of graphics.
The standard version of the Galaxy A6 Plus (2018) has 64GB storage space and 4GB RAM for multitasking. While the cheaper variant packs 32GB of storage space and 3GB of RAM. Nonetheless, you can upgrade both storage space up to 256GB. The Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus (2018) runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

The Plus version comes with dual rear shooters, a 16MP + 5MP Samsung cameras with f/1.7 and f/1.9 aperture respectively. The cameras come with amazing features including bokeh effect and portrait mode. There’s also phase detection autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR and others. A much clearer 24MP selfie camera with f/1.9 aperture is ready for selfies with a LED flash.
