The internet has been awashed with the on-going and off-going rumour about the features and specifications of two upcoming powerhouse Android smartphones in 2017, the Samsung Galalxy S8 and the LG G6 high-end smartphones. The LG G6 for example will be possibly announced at the upcoming MWC starting from February the 27.

On the processor side of things, GSMARENA reported that the LG G6 will be powered by a Qualcomm snapdragon 835 coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage . Samsung is the manufacturer of the new Snapdragon 835 and one is left in doubt if it will not be hoarding the processor for other OEMs to incorporate on their flagships.

In a bid to cast a shade on Samsung LG claimed that the LG G6 will sport a long lasting battery of 3200mAh which it says is safe and will not be plagued with the explosion problem on the Samsung Note 7.
According to Techradar, the LG G6 will be more better than its predecessor in term of form factor, it has a dimension of 148.8 x 72.3 x 8.3 mm with a screen size of 5.7-inch and 2k resolution.
On the other hand, Samsung is likely unveil the Samsung Galaxy S8 around April this year with mouth watering specs and features. The Galaxy S8 will sport a 5.0-inch super AMOLED screen with a 2k resolution. It will run out of the box Android 7.0 Nougat on top of Samsung’s own Touchwiz UI.
Since Samsung has exclusive right to the use of the Snapdragon 835 chip, the Samsung S8 will definitely come with the chip set, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Samsung S8 will follow the footstep of its predecessor the, S7 to feature dust and water resistance. The same feature that will be present on the LG G6.

Both phones have been tipped to debut customized Google Assistance and the LG G6 which will first be unveiled will be the first non-Google device to come with the technology.
