Details about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 series are emerging as the October launch approaches. The tablets will feature the new Dimensity 9300+ processor instead of the traditional Snapdragon chip. Notably, the smaller Galaxy Tab S10 model has been dropped from the lineup, leaving two variants: the Galaxy Tab S10+ and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.
Recent Geekbench tests reveal that both the Galaxy Tab S10+ (SM-X828U) and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra (SM-X926B) are equipped with the Dimensity 9300+ chip. The motherboard line in the benchmark shows “gts10u.” This processor includes a powerful 8-core CPU: four Cortex-X4 cores (one at 3.4GHz and three at 2.85GHz) and four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.0GHz. The GPU, though not tested by Geekbench, is the Immortalis-G720.

The Dimensity 9300+ also supports advanced connectivity options like Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, with optional 5G capabilities (including both sub-6GHz and mmWave). The tablets are expected to feature 12GB of RAM, consistent with the Tab S9 series, though a 16GB RAM variant of the Ultra may be available in select regions and configurations.
Performance-wise, the Dimensity 9300+ is anticipated to surpass the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip, despite the later release of the Tab S10 series compared to the 8 Gen 4. The MediaTek chip is also expected to be more cost-effective than its Qualcomm counterpart, potentially benefiting Samsung’s bottom line.
