Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G launches with Snapdragon 865+

Samsung has announced the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. The foldable smartphone which was scheduled for release during the August 5 Unpacked event inherits most of the specs and features of the Galaxy Z Flip.

The biggest change is the Snapdragon 865+ chipset with a 5G modem. As well as two brand new body colours – Mystic Grey and Mystic Bronze. Running inside the foldable smartphone is Samsung’s One UI 2.1 based on Android 10 OS. The software comes with exclusive features that best utilize the device’s form factor. One of those features is the ‘Flex Mode’ which basically splits some apps in two like the camera, where the camera viewfinder is on the top screen and the controls in the bottom screen.
