After the huge success recorded in Nigeria and Kenya with the launch of TECNO Camon CX and CX Air, Africa’s largest mobile phone brand; Tecno Mobile has unveiled in India its first i-series smartphones. The biggest from this new series from Tecno is known as Tecno i7. Other affordable phones tailored for the Indian market are the Tecno i3, i3 Pro, i5 and i5 Pro.
Tecno mobile is part of the Transsion Holding company which debuted in India with affordable smartphones from Itel mobile. According to the brand, the Indian market is a great market for any serious mobile phone manufacturer. The brand recorded huge success with the launch of Itel mobile last year in India, no wonder it decided to introduce its biggest brand Tecno Mobile in the country.
TECNO i7 SPECS REVIEW AND PRICE
Tecno i7 is a 5.5-inch FHD smartphone that accepts dual sims with support for 4G VOLTE. It has a gorgeous 2.5D display just like the Camon CX and is protected by a Nippon Electric Glass instead of the usual Corny Gorilla glass.
It is powered by Android 7.1 Nougat on top of Tecno’s own HiOS, a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek 6750T Processor coupled with massive 4GB of RAM which should be great for multitasking and 32GB of internal storage expandable to 128GB via MicroSdcard.
On the camera side of things, Tecno has dubbed the Tecno i7 as India’s first-night camera this is because the rear camera is blessed with 13MP assisted with Quad-LED flash capable of illuminating the darkest of environment. On the front of the i7 is a 16MP selfie snapper for the selfie freaks which also has an LED flash.
On the battery department, the Tecno i7 doesn’t disappoint as it comes with a huge 4000mAh battery with support for a fast charge which Tecno calls rocket charging. Other great specs of the device are a Front-mounted fingerprint scanner, Whatsapp-only data, ultra-saving mode etc.

TECNO i7 price in India will cost around Rs. 14,999 and as of the time of writing this post, there are no words from TECNO if the TECNO i7 will be launched aside of India since these Tecno i-series are customized for the Indian market.
