TECNO Mobile and Infinix Finally Get Listed on GSMArena

Until recently, Transion-owned Infinix and TECNO didn’t feature on GSMArena, the world’s leading online smartphone database, even though there are more than 100 smartphone brands on the platform. Such mobile device brands majorly include premium smartphone makers, as well as OEMs, which are listed from places all over the world.

For instance, in a country like China, there are several phone makers that are not listed on GSMarena. This could be partly attributed to issues bordering on patent infringements and copyright violations. Fortunately for Infinix Mobility and TECNO Mobile — both owned by Transion Holdings — such issues have all been got rid of.

On the popular website, 17 phones have now been listed, including models such as the Infinix Hot 6, 6x, 6x Pro, Hot S3, S3X, S3X Pro, Note 5, 5 Stylus, Smart 2, Smart 2 Pro, and lots more. As for Tecno, there are currently 15 devices, such as the Tecno Spark, Camon CX, Camon CX Air, Camon 11, Camon 11 Pro, and Phantom 6, among many others.

Infinix Mobility forayed into the smartphone-manufacturing domain around half a decade ago years and had previously focused solely on the African mobile phone market. However, about 3 years ago, the company, which is located in Shanghai, China, opted to extend its smartphone reach to other markets, such as the Asia Pacific countries, North America and South America countries, and particularly India, the second largest smartphone market globally.

That decision has, evidently, paid off in a number of ways, one of which is the recent listing of the brand on GSMarena. With the listing of TECNO Mobile and Infinix Mobility devices on the platform, this will translate to more exposure, and more brand awareness for both phone manufacturers as GSMarena is, as stated earlier, presently the top phone database in the world. In the same vein, enthusiasts of Tecno and Infinix smartphones can now look forward to more premium and creatively designed smartphones from the 2 companies, listed on the site.
