Tecno just announced the release of their new Tecno Pova Neo 5G. The Tecno Pova 3 was released a few months ago and we covered it here on Phonecorridor. Their new Pova Neo 5G comes with a plastic build at the back and glass up front. The phone has an IPS LCD display with 1080p resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It has a display size of 6.8 inches which is quite large for people with small hands.
The phone has some splash-resistant ratings, and it is targeted at gamers. It comes with a 6000mAh battery and the Pova lineup of Tecno phones never falls short of battery power. The Pova 3 that was released earlier came with a 7000mAh battery that could last over 10 hours under intensive usage. If you want an extensive battery life on a phone then the Tecno Pova Neo 5G is a great option. It comes with 18Watts fast charging support which is not great for a phone with a large battery.
The MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset powers the phone and it supports 5G. It is running on Android 12 and HiOs 8.6 Is the user interface. The phone has some preinstalled applications that push notifications on the phone. It also has two cameras a 50MP primary camera, and a VGA lens, upfront the selfie camera is 8MP. If you want good cameras on a Tecno phone take a look at the Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G. The phone has 4GB RAM that can be expanded with memory fusion and 128GB storage space.
It charges through a USB C port, you can expand the storage space with a dedicated SD card slot. The phone also has a headphone port beside the charging port.

The phone is priced at around $200 dollars which is equivalent to 135,000 naira in Nigeria. It has been officially released in India and it is expected to be rolled out in Nigeria and other African markets within the next few weeks.
