Tecno just announced their first-ever laptop the Tecno Megabook T1. The brand is broadening its horizon after gaining much success globally as a smartphone brand. At the IFA 2022 in Berlin, Germany the brand showcased their new laptop the Megabook T1 which was designed to offer something unique and stylish to the ever-evolving Gen Z.
It comes with a lightweight and stylish design at the back, and there are different colors to choose from. The laptop has a two-tone finish at the back with a shiny attractive line that runs at the upper part of the back. Tecno is calling it the Startrail Phantom. It comes with an aluminum and metal build, which makes it look premium. The laptop weighs just 1.48 kilograms making it lighter than a lot of 15-inch laptops.
It comes powered by the Intel Core i5-1157G chipset, but you can choose to buy a higher model with the Core i7 processor. The laptop comes with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD or 12GB RAM and 1TB SSD storage. You should expect up to 17hrs of battery life from the 70Wh battery. It also comes with a 65Watts GaN charger that is 400 times faster and 100 times lighter than contemporary laptops.
The Tecno Megabook T1 can be easily carried around for business trips, study, or travel without much worry about weight. It has a 15.6-inch IPS display with FullHD resolution with sRGB and TUV eye comfort certification. The laptop has 350nits of brightness with a DC adaptive dimming feature. Colors are accurate on the display and it protects your eyes from harmful blue light and retinal problems. You will get great viewing pleasure from the laptop.

The speaker on the Laptop is unique, Tecno developed the TECNO VOC sound system that uses AI with Tecno audio lab and DTS immersive sound. Using the VOC technology makes the audio stand out with superior audio quality while streaming, listening to music, watching movies, or video calls. Using AI the laptop detects priority sounds and reduces background noise within 5 meters during calls. The laptop has ENC-enabled dual mics.
It runs on Windows 11 OS and comes with 9 ports for connectivity. The Tecno Megabook also has a 2MP HP camera with privacy shade, a fingerprint scanner for unlocking the laptop, Bluetooth 5.0, a Tecno link for wireless transmission with Tecno phones, a backlit keyboard, and many more. It is going to be made available for sale soon according to Tecno.
