TECNO Spark CM Specs and Price

TECNO Spark CM is the first bezel-less Spark smartphone to grace us this year. The device was first announced in March and is now available in India and South America and other Asian countries. It bears a close resemblance to the Camon CM from the front with its 18:9 aspect ratio screen as that it has an 8MP front-facing camera while the Camon CM has 13MP.

DESIGN

Looks identical to the Camon CM but there’s a slight difference if you look closely. The vertically placed rear camera and LED flash sits in a vertical foundation this time around, just like the iPhone X.

There’s a rear fingerprint scanner at the usual position as well. Overall, it looks sleek and weighs less, measuring just 7.75 mm in thickness and weighing 172g. Sports curved edges and available in only Champagne and Black colours.

DISPLAY

So finally, the Spark series gets their first ever bezel-less smartphone, and its the Spark CM. Adopting the Camon CM name and exact screen size and features, such a stealer. Watching movies and playing games on this baby would simply be out of this world.

The 5.7-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen has a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and 282 pixels per inch density for clear visuals and sharp detail. The screen stretches up to 77% screen to body ratio which is amazing for a Spark smartphone from TECNO.

HARDWARE and SOFTWARE

The brain behind the device is the MediaTek MT6737H chipset with 4-cores processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The Quad-core processor reaches a disappointing speed of just 1.25GHz with 28nm process technology. In the graphics department, the ARM Mali-T720 MP2 graphics processor handles everything.

Ships with the standard 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage space. The RAM space should be enough for multitasking with a memory speed of 640MHz. While the internal storage space can be upgraded up to 128GB using a memory card. The TECNO Spark CM runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with HiOS 2.0 skin.

CAMERA

The 13MP at the rear has f/2.0 aperture and 5P Lens for clear and sharp images. The camera has a quad-LED flash and other quality features capturing photographs with 4160 x 3120 pixels in dimension. Features on the camera include face detection, Geotagging, HDR, ISO settings, Manual focus, Optical zoom, Panorama, Scene mode, Self-timer and others. While the 8MP selfie camera has a front LED flash as well for night selfies and video calls.

BATTERY

The TECNO Spark CM is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 3050mAh battery with no fast charging technology.
