The move saw all the new Samsung Galaxy S23 series phones come with Qualcomms chipset this year. There are currently rumors circulating that the tech giants are currently developing a new Exynos 2400 for next year’s Galaxy S24 series.

The Exynos 2400 could be a Game Changer
The Exynos chipset from Samsung haven’t been the favorite for smartphone users. Over the years I have had my fair share of poor experience with the chipset. It overheats and it isn’t the best in battery efficiency and performance. There is an ever so slight performance difference when you pair Samsung Galaxy S series devices running on Snapdragon chip and Exynos chip.
The upcoming Exynos 2400 is expected to be a declarer chips according to Revengnus on twitter, he claimed that the chipset will use AMDs RDNA2 based GPU. It will have 12 compute units and for refrence the Exynos 2200 has just three compute units. The chipset is also expected to feature 6WGP is part of AMDs RDNA architecture.
It wont come with octacore processors like we see on most smartphones but rather it will have 10 cores. The chipset is expected to come with the following cores: one Cortex X4 clocked at 3.1 GHz, two cortex A720 at 2.9 GHz, three Cortex A720 at 2.6 GHz and four Cortex A520 running at 1.8 GHz.
Some reports also claim that mass production of the Exynos 2400 will start in early 2024. It will be used on some models of the Galaxy S24 series but there are no words yet as to what region they will be going to. We will cover more news as they unfold.
